Ronald J. Manse
Ronald J. Manse, Director of Economic Alliances for Walsh University, is responsible for developing entrepreneurship on campus and with Walsh community relationships. Ron is also involved in Planned Giving for Walsh University.
Manse is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He retired as Tax Partner from Ernst & Young in 1997 after 27 years with the firm. He then joined Bruner-Cox as a Tax Partner, serving as the firm’s Managing Partner from January, 2003 until December, 2010. He retired from Bruner-Cox in November, 2012 after 15 years with the firm. He has more than 42 years’ experience in tax and business consulting, both in the U.S. and internationally. His experience includes tax-exempt tax planning, estate and gift planning, tax strategies for corporations and individuals, and international tax strategies.
Currently, Ron serves as chairman of the Board of North Canton Medical Foundation, treasurer of DCLB and Canton Tomorrow, past president and current board member of Perry Twp. Rotary, board member of Paul & Carol David Jackson Twp. YMCA, Sisters of Charity Foundation Board, and Stark Entrepreneurship Alliance Board. Ron also serves on several corporate business boards in the area and was on the Stark County Oversight Committee.
